License

Last updated: 12 Sep 2026

This License Agreement ("License") explains how you may use Content (photos, graphics, vectors, and other digital files) purchased or downloaded from FreepikPro, available at freepikpro.com. It works together with, and is subject to, our Terms of Service. By downloading or purchasing any Content, you agree to this License.

1. Ownership

Content sold on FreepikPro remains the intellectual property of the original Contributor (or FreepikPro, where we are the rights holder). Purchasing or downloading Content grants you a license to use it as described below - it does not transfer ownership or copyright to you.

2. License Types

2.1 Regular License

The Regular License allows you to use the Content in a single end product, for personal or commercial purposes, including (but not limited to): websites, social media posts, blog posts, presentations, apps, advertisements, and printed materials such as flyers, posters, or packaging for internal or small- scale use.

  • The end product must not be the Content itself - i.e., you cannot resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Content as a standalone downloadable file, print, or stock asset on another marketplace.
  • Print runs / digital impressions of the end product are limited to [MAX_COPIES_REGULAR]. If you expect to exceed this, purchase the Extended License instead.
  • A Regular License covers use by a single person or a single legal entity/organization.

2.2 Extended License

The Extended License includes everything covered by the Regular License, plus permission for higher-volume or resale-adjacent uses, including:

  • unlimited print runs and digital impressions of the end product;
  • use in merchandise for resale (e.g., printed on physical products offered for sale), where the Content is not the primary value of the product being sold;
  • use by larger organizations or across multiple related entities, where agreed at purchase.

The Extended License still does not permit reselling or redistributing the original Content file(s) as a standalone stock asset.

3. What Is Always Prohibited (Both License Types)

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or giving away the original downloaded file(s) as-is, whether for free or for payment, including on other stock/marketplace sites.
  • Claiming authorship or exclusive copyright ownership of the Content.
  • Using the Content in any way that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Using the Content to create a competing stock-photo/graphics marketplace product.
  • Removing or bypassing any watermark, resolution limit, or other technical protection applied to preview versions of the Content.
  • Using an identifiable person's photo in a way that implies their endorsement of a product, service, or cause, or in a sensitive context (e.g. medical, legal, or adult content), unless the Content is explicitly licensed for that use.

4. Attribution

Some Content is marked as requiring attribution on its product page. If so, you must credit the Contributor as instructed there (typically the Contributor's display name and a link back to FreepikPro) wherever the end product is publicly displayed. If a piece of Content does not indicate attribution is required, no credit is necessary, though it's always appreciated.

5. File Sizes & Formats

Depending on the item, you may choose from multiple resolutions/formats at download time (small, medium, large, or vector where available). Your license applies equally regardless of which size you download - choose the size appropriate to your end use.

6. No Warranty on Third-Party Content

While Contributors confirm they have the rights to upload their Content, FreepikPro cannot guarantee that every upload is fully free of third-party claims (for example, an unrecognized trademark or identifiable brand visible in a photo). If you plan to use Content in a way where this matters (e.g. large-scale advertising), we recommend your own legal review before publishing.

7. License Termination

Your license to use a specific piece of Content may be terminated if you violate this Agreement, in which case you must stop using that Content and remove it from any end product where reasonably possible. This does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except as described in our Terms of Service.

8. Changes to This License

We may update this License from time to time; changes apply to purchases made after the update, and do not reduce the rights you already have for Content purchased earlier under a previous version.

9. Contact Us

Questions about what a specific license allows? Contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL] before you use the Content in a way you're unsure about.
